I have removed and replaced all of the followers in my 30 round USGI magazines, but am having trouble removing the alloy followers in my 20 round magazines without forcing them (for cleaning/lubrication).  Any tips and/or tricks would be appreciated.

Thanks HarryD

Troy,
Thanks for the reply!
When I removed the followers from my 30 round mags, I did not separate the springs from the followers until they were both out of the mag bodies.  With the 20 round magazine's extra "tab" this did not work.  After reading your post, I tried first removing the spring from the follower and your procedure worked great.
Thanks again, Harry
