Anyone know?
I think they were for Firing Blanks but can be made to fire Live Ammo? I saw one just need a couple just to have them !!!

They are expensive, mind you. Almost twice the price of a standard Thermold mag. Computerguy usually has a few to sell. They aren't very common.

These are long shots:
-List on the Equipment Exchange under "Wanted to Buy" Your best bet in my opinion. -Try Lippy (Lippman Enterprises), Denny's Guns, Tapco, CDNN Enterprises. -e-mail Troy and ask him for leads. |

Also...do NOT leave them in the sun, they will fade....just a few hours in the sun at the last AZ ARFCOM shoot faded mine noticeably.

How much are the waffle looking mags going for these days. I just picked 2 up. The floorplate says. Any history on these? Armalite Patent pending Then something about Colt MFG.. Thanks in advance.. Chris |

Waffle mags go for anywhere between $50 and %100, depending on condition. You wouldn't want to use them as shooters, as they aren't all that reliable. This is one of the reasons they're so rare, GIs purposely destroyed most of them when the newer, more reliable 20's came out, to make sure that people weren't using the waffle mags.
