I bought a 30 round magazine Union Camp Corp. that was made by Adventure Line Mfg. of Parsons, KS.
This was also printed on the plastic bag that the mag came in: VP-391 May 1975
               Mil- B-117D

Are these mags any good or are they junk? Haven't used it yet, just wondered if anybody has any. Thanks.

Union Camp is a large paper/ packaging manufacturer. The item you have is a 30 round USGI magazine. I hope you haven't opened the plastic bag; the item is worth a bit more as they say NIW(New-in-wrapper).

It's an Adventure Line mag in a UC bag.  Even the packaging used by the gov't contractors, in this case Adventure Line, had to be made to specifications and have it's own NSN.  A serious mag collector might be interested in something sealed NIW from the 70s like that.

Thanks for the info guys. It's really funny, I thought about opening the plastic bag up and getting a closer look at the magazine but decided not to. I think I'm going back on Monday to see if there are any more of these left. I paid 19.95 thinking I was getting a decent price for a GI mag. Guess I got kinda lucky.
