is this a legal thing ebay forces on people? I saw a good deal the other day on some Okay mags, but was worried they were modified somehow. Maybe I'm stupid, but does ebay just force sellers to list as 10 round only? I probbaly passed up a good deal.

Thx,
HS

E-Bay prohibits selling of hi cap mags so people list them as " pre ban 10 round mags ".
There are sometimes good deals, but there have been several posts about people getting re-finished mags sold as new and LE/Restricted mags sold as pre ban.

I would stick with the Equipment Exchange board.

I've bought some pretty good 20-rd mags, oh, actually, they were "10-round AR magazines #20" [;)] on eBay.

However, buying 30-rd mags on eBay is a crapshoot - about 10% of the mags I bought turned out to be post-bans, which *immediately* went back to the seller for a refund.  Most of the people selling mags on eBay wouldn't know post-ban mags from a hole in the ground.

I'd stick to the Equipment Exchange (EE) for 30-rd mags.
