The last new 20rd and 30rd Mags I purchased before the Sept. 1994 ban I almost certain they were $20.00 each.
What is everyone's opinion on the Mag prices?
When the AWB sunsets do you think the price will drop dramatically of float down to the $20.00 range like they were before?

Prices varied greatly then as they do now. In 1994 the prices I saw for new standard GI contract mags were between $10 and $20. The prices range between $20 to $35 now.

A good relative guide to go by is the price of Law Enforcement post ban mags currently at around $12 to $15.

I think if the ban is not renewed you could see mass production and price cutting due to competition and prices dropping below $10 for GI contract quality mags.

Just my .02 cents

Thanks for the info.
Dad is 56 I was only referring the Mag prices when I started buying AR'S.
I started buying AR'S in 1989 or 1990 that was when I paid the $18.00 each for the Colt Mags. I still have the first two Mags I bought brand new. I have re-finished them and replaced the black follower with a green follower. I also had to replace the spring in the 20rd Mag it went bad for some reason.
I was going to stock up some more Mags, but I might just hold off for a little while now.

I just bought brand new steel 30-rounders this past weekend for $19/each.
They also had those plastic Thermold 30-rounders for $14.
