Stupid question, I know, I know the only stupid Q is...
What are the legallities, after the 94 ban, of making and marketing magazine bodies that would allow over 10 rounds for any part. weapon system? IE: replacement/repair parts for previously owned mags. Which part of the mag makes it a mag? A mag body is not a mag. A mag follower and floorplate are not mags. All items assembled are a mag. So where does ATF draw the line? A lil' devils advocate anyone? |

But can Manufacturers produce/market un-dated magazine bodies intended fo use as pre ban replacement/repair parts?

So, how are THEY going to know how many mags you started with???
Sounds like you could order replacement bodies, springs, followers, and floorplates for a few extra "replacements." Stupid question... Why can't you just go across state lines and get whatever you want? |
