My thinking is that you can get over 10 USGI 30s for the same $$, and have 3.3 times more ammo on hand plus the comfort of knowing they're not going to break if you've got to go prone quickly. For the price of a single Beta C-mag, you could buy enough USGI 30s to hold a case of ammo, compared to the 100rds in the c-mag. Just another way to look at it. |

Thanks a bunch guys just wanted some opions before I got it. I realy wanted a C-mag but don't wanna pay that much for one so I'll probably never have one unless the ban is lifted.

A fully loaded MWG 90 Rounder is quite heavy. Also, all the weight is off center. It rests in the crook of your left arm, but is still very awkward.
The MWG functions just fine, but hangs farther down than the Beta C. I had one, and though function was just fine, I traded it, and the pouch, loading tool, etc, back before the ban for a HUGE pile of new USGI's. |
