Looking to buy a mag cinch/holder, the type that simply holds two magazines together while in the weapon.  Best one?  Where to buy and at what price?   I see Fobus (sp?) ones on Ebay from time to time.

The only advice I can give is for you to save your money and buy another mag instead. IMO you will be better served by a new mag instead of one of those mag holders.

MagCinch.  I saw these at the SAR show this weekend, and was impressed.

I use the Fobus/Samco dual mag clamp.  It allows for a staggered or parallel configuration.  It's made entirely of plastic (except the tension screws) so you don't have to worry about scratching up your mags.  Best of all, it's cheap.  I bought mine at a gun show for $5.  For that price you can't go wrong - if you don't like it, you're not out $50-$60 as with the redi-mag.

Yeah, I have heard that quite a few people have opted out of the Redi-mag configuration after installing it.  Looks like the Mag-cinch from Buffertech may be the way to go.

So which one did you decide on?

Ha! M4_Aiming_at_U, you are breaking my bank account!  I'm gonna duck tape a few together.

Seriously, I really like the looks of the Buffertech, though they are pricy.

I shoot 3-gun matches and most of the guys use the Mag-Cinch. One drawback to the mag-cinch is when using the LULA loaders. You can't release it once you are loaded on the back mag. You have to separate the mags.
