Anthing with a DPMS floorplate refurbished. DPMS is not a USGI mag producer. |

I don't think the R Guns mags are the original Labelle black teflon, if I read the magazine FAQ correctly.

At the time when I bought them from Brownells. I was told they were made by a GI contractor for DPMS with their base plates. They were completely unused. The feed lips were sharp edged and undamaged in any way. |

I think the debate is whether or not they're original Labelle mags or reconditioned mags coated with teflon. Functionally, they may be fine, just not the rare originals (which don't have "DPMS" on the floorplate - the company name is fully imprinted).

They're not refinished, they are mostly likely post-ban produced mags that left the country and then were re-imported back in. It's the only available explanation for the changes. The mags are good mags and are worth the price considering the durability of the teflon finish. I did note a couple of inconstistancies w/ the finish on a couple of the mags I received from RGuns but I suppose it was luck of the draw.
As for RGuns, if you get what you pay for you'll be fine, if you don't, then you're in for some fun! |
