I purchased a couple of Colt 30 round mags a few years back. They are black teflon (looks more like a black oxide)with Colt floorplates.

They were sold as Colt mags and the seller was getting a premium for them.

Anyone have any info on these? What they are worth?

Thanks,
Brian

It looks like someone swapped floor plates, using colt to get a premium price, as there never were any colt teflon coated mags.

I BOUGHT 2 OF THOSE MYSELF,THE PAINT(TEFLON) IS STILL CHIPPING,OR RUBBING OFF WITH USE,BUT AT $12 EACH,THEY WERE WORTH IT,BOUGHT THEM ABOUT 3 OR 4 YRS AGO,THESE MAGS LOOK LIKE CRAP,BUT WORK GREAT.JUST GOT SOME OF THE NEW TEFLON/MOLY PERMA SILK G PAINT,HAVE PRINTED OUT INSTRUCTIONS,AND WILL USE SOME STEEL WOOL TO LEVEL OUT THE LOUSEY PAINT JOBS ON MY COLT BLACK MAGS,ANYBODY WITH A BETTER IDEA ON HOW TO REMOVE,OR SMOOTH OUT THAT TEFLON PAINT,IT DOESN't come off very easy..except when you put 1 in the mag well...P.S.THE MAGS HAVE THAT COLT COLOR UNDERNEATH THE TEFLON BLACK PAINT..???
