Greetings, I'm planning to sell several pre-ban USGI 30-round mags from my collection.  However, they have finish wear, but work well otherwise (no dents, dings, or cracked feed lips).

I've seen people grade them "95+%", "80%" and so on.  Obviously, 100% would be new, but what would constitute "70%" and so on?

I know the mags are anodized aluminum with moly dry-film lube over them - if you can see shiny spots, is that the anodizing or the actual aluminum?

Sorry for the dumbass questions, but I don't want to mislead buyers as to the finish condition.  BTW, I plan on posting photos when I sell them.

TIA.

Hey Troy, just curios.  Is the moly coat the powdery stuff that gets all over my hands, or is this something else?

Troy, thanks for the info.  BTW, I have placed an ad in EE.

TR, the gray powdery stuff is indeed the moly coat.
