Very interesting. What is that round/rifle designed for? Anti-materiel? With such a terribly low BC it cannot be much good past 800 yards at most, probably closer to 500.

The Russians have traditionally put a lot more emphasis into AP small arms bullets than we have and when they kill all the Ukrainians in an armored vehicle with a PKM it should be obvious why.

Might make for a nice Improved cartridge, Up the velocity a little. Of course not in a semi or fa.

Sees use in African hunting sometimes, for example. I'm quite surprised to see it be used in a military application. First time I've ever seen that. |
