Russian 9.3x64 Brenneke 7h(N)33 Armor Piercing Cutaway for the SVDK rifle.
254gr with hardened steel core at 2526 fps.  40% more power than the 7n14 sniper bullet.

Very interesting. What is that round/rifle designed for? Anti-materiel? With such a terribly low BC it cannot be much good past 800 yards at most, probably closer to 500.

The Russians have traditionally put a lot more emphasis into AP small arms bullets than we have and when they kill all the Ukrainians in an armored vehicle with a PKM it should be obvious why.

Might make for a nice Improved cartridge, Up the velocity a little. Of course not in a semi or fa.

9.3X64 Brenneke is an older cartridge that was designed for hunting.  Sees use in African hunting sometimes, for example.  I'm quite surprised to see it be used in a military application.  First time I've ever seen that.

If that's a Brenneke cartridge, then it's German from the interwar period.

The European equivalent to .35 Whelen is 9.3X62.
