I have been searching and reading about these but the threads were a few years old.

So I wished to ask which would be the best to use at say up to about 150 yards?

The barrel is a Lothar Walther 16"
LW-50 Stainless Steel
Mid-Length Gas System
M4 Barrel Extension, with Extended M4 Feedramps
1:8 Twist Polygonal Rifling, With .223 Wylde Chamber
1/2x28 Thread Pitch For Muzzle Device

Also since we are on Bullets what would be just a good shooting Bullet for the Cost?

I was looking at the Hornady .224 55Gr SP?

For Powders I have on hand is H-322,RL-15 and TAC, I have a few others but these seem to keep popping up?

And one more wild question. What is a Good Primer to use? As there seems to be a few different ones?

Thank You.

P.S. Is there a Reloading area on the Forum or just Ammunition?

For hunting hogs, I'd use the heaviest(longest) bullet the gun will stabilize.

I have had good luck with 55gr  TTSX using 25.5 gr H335 or 21.5gr of IMR 4198.

The best way i have found to put hogs down is shoot them in the ear then bullet design does not really matter

Reloading forum would be the place for this; narrow it down to a couple issues at a time.
