A good plinking ammo that is fairly accurate is the 55gr FMJ AE223. At least for me it is a 1 to 1-1/2 MOA cartridge.
Cheaper match ammo would be PPU 69 or 75 grain BTHP. Not great accuracy, but very good. I like the Black Hills 77gr 5.56 OTM. 75gr Hornady Steel match is pretty good, if you can find it. Stick 69 grain or heavier BTHP or OTM and you'll be fine. |

That american eagle 50gr. Ballistic tip varmint load is usually pretty accurate and readily available on the cheap at most places.
