If it's made in Italy, it's probably manufactured by someone else. Maybe Fiochi. |

I'd buy about any brass ammo for less than 50 cpr right now
EDIT: Let me clarify that as 223 brass. Figured some smartass would offer up some 22lr if I didnt |
I just scored 3 boxes of that tonight! They had it in .40 S&W too but they limit to 3 boxes of ammo a day
I just scored 3 boxes of it myself tonight. It looks fine, like the other guy said, any brass cased .223 I can buy for < .50/rd I'm buying now.
Bought 3 boxes today. Made in Italy on the box. Brass case, bullet looks like copper lead core 55gr. Could only buy 3. they had about 20 boxes. Works out to about .34 a round plus tax. Rounds are in a plastic tray. Will go again tomorrow.

headstamp rem .223 Tulammo and a small mark that appears to be their logo, but my old eyes cannot make it out. bullet appears to be copper lead core. Does not respond at all to a magnet,
If it's manufactured by Fiocchi it should be good stuff, I typically shoot Fiocchi ammo and never experienced any issues.
i will def be on the look out for this at .34cpr before tax thats def a great deal in todays market
Got 3 boxes of 50 at Wallys today for $16.97 a box.Looks like good stuff.
I bought 3 boxes of .223 and went back later and bought 3 more. Figured I would regret it if I passed it up. There were 14 boxes this morning. Down to 2 now. They had the .40, also.
Same deal as everyone. First time i've saw also. Three per day, one per person. I'd go back but I have a problem not following rules.
Damnit I just missed a few boxes of this at my walmart in PA. Got my 3 boxes of steel for $5 tho
My Daughter picked up three boxes of .223 Brassmaxx for me tonight at Walmart. Has anyone seen this ammo anywhere other than Walmart? I wonder if this is made exclusively for Walmart.

Like everybody else, saw 40, 45, & 223. Hopefully they get 9 & 308 soon.
I gave up on Walmart but by chance found a few boxes of this stuff yesterday. Looks quality much better than American Eagle Cheapamo's. |
I've been seeing more ammo at walmarts recently scored each of the last three days. Got some Brass Max in .223 and .45, looks like good stuff, boxer primed non corrosive. Anyone shot it yet?
I am starting to get even more disgruntled with the ammo situation at my local ( and i use that term very loosely) walmarts. We don't get federal value packs of 223, no 420 round cans, and we haven't and most likely won't get this either. If it isn't steel cased we don't get it. And i swore off steel.
I saw it for the first time today. After weeks of giving up on walmart, i decided to come in today and i saw some prvi partisan .223 for 8$/ 20. Then i saw the tulamaxx brass in .40 and was curious about the quality.

Are you sure they don't get it, or it's just sold out when you get there. My locals have been getting ammo a few times a week. Sells out by early after noon everyday. There was a lady, myself and another guy there at 7am, all buying our limit the other day. Same deal/different people a few days before that. |
Saw Brass Maxx at my local Walmart today but there was no 223. A couple of 40SW that I almost picked up but was mainly looking for 223
Quoted: What is the price on the .40 and .45? I think the .45 I saw was $21 ??? Not sure, though |
No 223 brass maxx yet just 40sw and 45acp at my local walmart. Both 19.97. This stuff is most likely made by Fiocchi ammo.
Ive only seen brass max in the following.
40 50 rds 19.97 45 50 rds 19.97 223 50 rds 16.97 |
I bought a total of 6 boxes last week, luckily the fiancee' was with me. I haven't shot it yet because of the weather I couldn't go shoot this weekend.
Hopefully I'll be able to unload a box next weekend and see how it does. If it feeds ok and shoots half way decent, this could be my new ammo. Best price on brass I've seen. |
Saw and bought some .45 in Wal-Mart for 19.97per fifty round box. Haven't shot any yet but was just happy to find decent prices these days. They didn't have much of anything else. No other pistol or black rifle ammo.
I bought some of this last week and Im looking for ballistics info, does anyone have anything on this?

I hope they stock it at my walmart I wish my Wal-Mart got ANY ammo in the last month.... sadly the "sporting goods" manager is a anti gun reject that refuses to order anything.... I repat our ammo case is empty.... even sadder I live in the country..... |

FWIW, my two local WM shelves are empty too, except for the few hrs after a restock. Vultures swoop in and it's gone. |

Anybody seen any in 7.62x39 I saw about twelve boxes of Tula in 7.62x39 in Mansfield, Texas last night. I think it was five or six dollars for a box of twenty. That doesn't do you much good (being in North Carolina) but you asked Chris |
I'm on a business trip in Arkansas, and have been to two different Walmarts. I have seen more ammo in each store than I have in all three of the Walmarts in my area back home. I was in one last night that got 5 or 6 cases of PPU 9mm in, and some other stuff in single box quanities.
I haven't even gotten a whiff of any ammo at my local Walmarts. The only ammo they have had is 5 boxes of 270 win and some shotgun shells.
If I see any of this Tula I'm going to jump on it. |
Found Tula 7.62x39 for $5.16 @ box....not great but at
least they had something I needed. |
I bought 3 boxes of the Tulammo .223, 50rd at a Walmart near me, 3 boxes of PPV 5.56, 20rd at another Walmart and 5 boxes of Winchester 5.56, 20rd at Outdoor World - all in the day! My Colt and I are happy campers for a while
Be patient people, ammo is coming back around at decent prices. |
First time today I saw Brass Maxx Tula for $17/50. Bought three of the six boxes. Tried to get someone else to sell me the other three. . No luck. . They did have 9mm &.45. 9 was 10 & .45 was $20. Best ammo price I've had in months. I was so sick of spending .65 per round.
