Saw an offer for 55gr FMJBT Lake City Brass or Winchester ammo at 30 cents a rounds. Is this a good deal or should I pass? If there is a better deal please let me know. Just thought I would ask.

Thanks!

Get the hell outta my way, I want that ammo, and I will crush your skull if you interfere.

Seriously, .30 per round is a good price for factory ammo.

    Once-fired cases

uuhh, just saw that line. Who reloaded it? If they are reliable, go for it.

Seems like a good price to me.  They may be remanufactured rounds with a price like that.

These are my opinions take them for what they are worth.
The ONLY reloads I've ever trusted were Black Hills, they have established an excellent track record, so much so, you pay a premium for their consistance and accuracy.
I never bought the Centurion that was/is available not that long ago, but enough Arfcommers reported it was decent stuff.
Beyond that, I will always avoid someone else's reloads like the plague. That doesn't mean it's crap...it just means I'm not willing to roll the dice.
You are taking a chance on an unknown.... it's your rifle, it's your body and it's your money. You are the only one who can make the decison. You've got plenty to loose, and only a few cents to gain.
Personally, I'd spend a few cents more and buy IMI. I'd even buy bulk LC over unknown reloads.  You are only talking a few cents per round difference.
    Better safe than sorry

Here is the wording off the online order form:

Looks like from a good source. Trying to see if this is a good deal or not. Thirty cents a round looks good to me. What says the hive?

I think it all has been said before...

Other than that .30 a round for reloads isn't a great price.  I would call it fair, not good.

Hate to rain on your parade, but its not that great. when considering a few weeks ago you could get 2k of PMC 55gr for $550. Also ammunitiontogo.com has 1,000 reloaded 55gr for $289.99, or brand new PMC $329/1k

    link It gets great reviews.

Find the brand of the ammo you are talking about, because if its local its better then waiting and paying for shipping, but tax might make it more then online with shipping.

I was with you until the "once-fired" part.  Spend the extra $ to get factory-new, not Bubba's basement reloads.

Ok so I looked around a little here and there and I have a question. Little confused on the M192 vs XM193 stuff. What does all the nomenclature mean in regards to the ammo type? I just thought that ammo was what ever caliber it was and then if if it had a full metal Jacket it said so. Dont understand these numeric additions to the descriptions? Can someone point me to the right direction on this? And what the hell is Q3131A1?

    Dude... Google

For instance, Q3131A1 is one type of white-box winchester ammo.

This for sure. I mean, .30 a round isn't bad, but its reloads. If I don't know who reloaded it, then I'd be slow to buy it.
