M855/SS109 is NOT an AP load, just standard ball with small steel internal penetrator. I would not pay more than $0.50 per cartridge...

I say in todays market, 350-450. But me personally i wont buy for more than 300. I am not going to war anytime soon, and 55gr ammo will kill a bad guy just as good. I dont plant to go out on the street shooting people on their cars and the such.

$300 a case for LC XM855 is my limit. I might pay a tiny bit more for a case of M855.

i would go 300 and no more,
but then again i shoot wolf exclusivly because it great in all my rifles(sig 556, surpressed 10.5 LMT), |
