ok, i know this horse has been beaten more times than man kind can keep track of, but heres the deal. i usually shoot DRS reloads, at what used to be around $310 per 1k rounds. well, cant find it. anywhere. and really dont feel like spending more. so i have been thinking about getting some 62gr. Wolf or Barnaul/brown Bear. it would be run through my 16'' with a 1/9 barrel, and my soon to be finished 12.5'' 1/7'' SBR. now, this would really just be SHTF ammo, wont shoot it unless i have to. i know its dirtier, but does it REALLY wear things faster?
