Uneven annealing during the case drawing process?

I bought a case of wolf that must have been from a bad lot because 5 rounds did not have the flash hole drilled.  The primer would detonate and explode but no bang.  I just figured I got what I paid for and threw the bad rounds over the backstop.  To think I could have reported it and gotten FREE ammo.  Oh well.....

I thought global warming cased the holes in the case shoulders.  Oh wait, global warming is Bush's fault too, isn't it?

Did it still have powder in it or would have it squibbed?

Damn

I should have sent them the handful of bent/split/gouged cases I had. I could have got  a pallet of that stuff.

I hate seeing these threads because I still think about a round of magtech .45 that had half the case missing around the bullet and i just dismantled and threw away.  Should have called and seen what they would have done.  Good they took care of you though.

Wow a whole case of ammo, that is awesome, so would have been the carnage if you guys ended up missing that and firing that round.

Glad you caught it and glad they took care of you.

I have had a few bad rounds of wolf, they always replace them no problems. Last time i had 5 bad rounds, i emailed them they told me to get rid of them and they sent me 2 boxes. If it is any quanity of bad rounds, they will send out a call tag and have you send them back.
