Received 500 rounds of TZZ 89 .45acp from a friend this weekend while on our annual hunting trip. Interesting story is that he got them from the guard a long time ago when they exchanged their 1911 for the current 9mm. This took place, according to him, in the early 90's. Anyway, they gave him a boat load of this ammo along with magazines. I also found it interesting that they were using Israel made ammo.

I shot TZZ ammo as late as 2000 in the military.  It came from the service sponsored marksmanship teams.  Worked great but was pretty dirty.  I would love to have a couple cases nowadays...

Excellent brass for reloading. I personally got 35+ loadings out of TZZ 89 brass before I felt like retiring it.
