Can anyone tell if this is truly m855 made in the Lake City plant or some crap made by someone calling themselves "Lake City".

On their site they advertise that they got it because of that misprint.  All the boxes of 20 that I purchased from them are marked M855.  I'm pretty sure they're charging so much because no one else has any, I wonder how the hell they got it.

I bought some of the funny boxes back when it was $5.97 a box. It's no bullshit XM855. I had never tried any and figured this was a way to try some without buying a buttload and finding out my rifle didn't like it. It loves it. LC '04 headstamp.

I wish it was "M931" ... I could use some of that.

All of the single boxes I've purchased from them so far are LC '05 headstamp.  All of the 840rd cans I've purchased are LC '01 headstamp.  I fire a 30rd mag from each can to test before I store it away and I've had 0 issues with any of this ammo.  The price is ridiculous but where else is there REAL LC M855 right now?  I also questioned this stuff at first because it seemed odd to me that CTD somehow has this huge supply of LC M855 when no one else does, AND it is also unlikely that it will ever be available on the market in any significant quantity again because of the the EO Clinton signed.

They must be used to some expensive dirt!  I think it's time they changed their name to "We rape you for ammo"

You can buy BH 262 seconds from Joe Kiser right NOW. It's listed under his "sale" items and the price is better than Cabela's...when they have it.
Just a heads up for ya'll

I shot 60 rounds of this stuff at the range today, 55 degrees, wind 15mph, could not hold on target at 100 yards, 5" group.   The best I could do under the circumstances,  In the past I was able to hold shots to a quarter, with no wind.  This stuff is hot compared to Wolf, got it at 5.99/20 rounds, now it's over 10 bucks, wonder what a range trip will cost in a few years

Cheaper than dirt is ok sometimes until you get to the shipping. I bought 4 boxes of MagTech .380 and shipping was $11, I then added 1 box (5 rounds) of slug shotgun shells and the shipping jumped up to $18.

I then called and asked them about this and they said if an item comes from their warehouse and is not at there actual location than the price jumps up for shipping. So now I selectivly buy from CTD when its actually cheap!

The review on CTD's site had one person that posted that he thought this stuff was seconds as well...  I can't imagine paying that much and then getting shitty rejects too

Sorry to hijack, and sorry to mislead . It was on his website on Tuesday. If you really are interested, call or email Joesph Kiser, his contact info is on his website (click above on his banner). I ordered 500rds of BH 262 white box. His sale might be over, but when I spoke with him, he still had some.
