I was looking at model 1's sight, and noticed that they have options for either a 5.56 nato, or .223 chamber. Is there a difference? I was told that they were the same bullets. Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but like I said, I am new :) Thanks a lot, Jeff

Thanks much, I was told at the gun store a while back that they were the same. I got the 5.56, so I think I should be good with milsurp ammo. Thanks again guys, Jeff

You chose well in getting the 5.56 chamber. You can shoot both 5.56 and .223 with no problems. The problem comes in if you try to shoot 5.56 ammo in a .223 chamber.

Heres a couple pics, anyone know anything about it? Like what type of handguards I could replace these with, or anything else? I really am new to this. Got this on trade.

Don't know much about it, the barrel is bushmaster(i was told by the guy I am getting it from, should be here tomorrow) Not sure who made the upper. Barrel is a 1-9 twist, and is chrome lined. Came with a bolt, carrier, and charging handle.

It is just the upper, no lower.
