I looked at some today and it was headstamped LC and had the NATO cross.

it's pretty much a crap shoot, My last batch was all LC brass and before that was AE brass

The last 20,000 I've seen are FC stamped. I didn't think to look before that.

Federal used some LC brass in Late 2005 and early 2005

It seem s that they changed boxes too, did anyone else notice that? The large box, with the plastic shellholder, had FC headstamps. The small boxes (the same size as XM193), had LC headstamps. Anyone ever chrono to see the difference?

Nope. While all the large boxes I have seen are FC brass - the small boxes are NOT all LC brass. I have nothing but small boxes, and MOST of it was the FC crappy brass. Only SOME of it was LC. Like the others said - its a crapshoot. |

I always find 2 or 3 LC brass in a small box of AE

I bought 2 cases last year from Outdoor Marksman. Large box all LC brass, one case 04 & one case 05.
Bought a case from Wideners last week, small box FC brass.
