That is more than a little high. There are several places on the ammo price list that are cheaper.
I paid 199 at the last gun show. You could have bought XM193 from Mirage for less. |

I recently bought two cases of xm193 boxed, for 238.00 per K. from the same dealer. I thought the q3131 was supposed to be a little more. Also, like I said, I haven't seen any around. Oh well, it won't be the first thing I overpaid for.

I went and looked at the price list on this site and you are right, I REALLY OVERPAID for my ammo.

The local Gander Mountain has the Q3131 for $5.49 per 20. Haven't seen it for a while. Not a great price but convenient, so I snagged a few boxes. Probably hit it again on payday!

$6.39 at the local "price-gouging" gun shop.
They are asking $300 for a case of 3131.

I picked up 2 cases of Q3131A at a WAC gunshow here in western WA about a month and a half ago.
At the time I thought I was overpaying ( $210 per case ) Now I am glad I bought it. Sad part was I left a case of 1K on the pallet  He had 3 cases and I only bought 2 of them.Stupid stupid stupid

I just bought the last case of Q3131 from my local Sportsman's Warehouse in Mesa for $239. They also had several cases of " 223 rem 62gr FMJ" There are two other stores in the area that might still have it in stock if anybody is looking.

My gun dealer quoted me a price of $265 a case plus shipping for Q3131A.
Ouch!! I guess if you really want it. |

I was at a local SW today and the had a case of Q3131 plus a partial case. I took the full case because they give a 5% discount. At the checkstand the girl rings it up incorrectly. "That will be $47" she says. "Thank you very much" I say. Am I a bad person?

WAS $212.50 Now $242.00 plus shipping. hock.gif $4.84 per box,@50 box per case. $5.28 per box less than a case. Too late to buy now. EDIT: this is for Q3131A................Q3131 not listed on website now |

R-32 I am glad it was you that scarfed up that last case. I was really shocked to see it in James' ammo area. He informed me had had taken it in trade / thats why he only had the 3 cases. |

That stuff is just plain old TIER 87 ammo!
Chuck Norris rejected it for cosmetics, then the military which gets second pick after chuck, also rejected it! |

Gander Mountain stores want you to pay their lease every time you buy ammo. The worst price I find in San Antonio for Q3131 or the 62 grain variety (can't remember the product number) is about $4.50 for Q3131 and $5.50 for the 62 grain stuff.
The only GM store I've been to was in Sugarland, TX. It was bad from every angle. Not enough staff, bad layout, staff that did NOT care about serving customers, high prices, the works. I'm not going to another GM store. |
