Everywhere I look, this ammo is getting more expensive and most places with reasonable prices are backordered.  Are these going to IRAQ?  Anyone know where I can still get them cheap?  Thanks

I went to the gun show in Salem VA this weekend, and I was looking for some for a friend of mine. The ONLY 7.62x39 that I saw at the show was $5 per box I can't even remember what kind it was, it wasn't wolf or brown bear or anything like that. I think it was some kind of surplus stuff.

I was thinking the same thing, that it must be some kind of shortage.
Does anyone have any information? Is this a short term thing, or is this going to be a long term trend?

I'm glad I don't have any weapons that shoot this round anymore.
