Hey guys,

A jillion years ago, well back in the 80's, I was an amorer.  M16's had 1 in 12 twist barrels and M193 was the stuff we fed them, no real news.  Now the twists are 1 in 7 and 1 in 9.  I shoot a CAR 15 type set up with a 1 in 9 barrel.  Question, how does the M855 and SS109 ammo designed to perform in the 1 in 7 barrels perform in the 1 in 9?  I've stayed true to the 55 grain stuff since the jillion years ago, but as you know, good/reliable M193 is getting harder to find and if I need to move on to the 62 grain stuff, who puts the best out?

Thanks

Thanks, forgot how much info, analysis and experience is contained in the Oracle and FAQ.  Shoot on.
