What is the difference with the moly stuff? More accurate or does it have to do with the ballistics of the round itself?

Moly coated bullets are intended to reduce copper fouling in the bore for ease of upkeep.

I dont think it works really good enough for the extra price, if it works at all.

Plus the "Moly fouling" is supposedly hydroscopic and also difficult to remove.

This of couse is just my opinion.

Same bullet.  One looks gray because its coated with moly.  The other is naked.  There is no difference in ballistics.  Moly reduces friction between the barrel and bullet in the first 2-4" of the barrel.  Handloading moly bullets will allow you more velocity because you can load more powder and still stay below the pressure ceiling.

I'd use the the BH uncoated offering.  It's cheaper and shoots the same.  No moly mess to get out of the barrel.
