I was a t a gun show this weekend and picked up a can of Lake Cities Ball M193  '05. It is packed in 7 pocket bandoliers in strippers. 840 rounds. Paid $250. Is this too much? Seems high but I thought since it is prepacked seemed like a better deal. Any thoughts? Should I call him and go get his last remaining can? He had several cans of the penetrator tips packed the same.
Thanks.

it's not a horrible price because of it being scarce  nowadays and it is out of stock at most places but you could have gotten a case of it for under that price or at least right around there.  But not to bad.

Welcome to the site.  If you are looking for the best prices on anything from ammo to optics you are at the right place.  These guys here always find the best prices and let us know about it

Sounds like the same thing ammo man is selling except the stuff I got from him was 2002 I believe. Its really good stuff.  I think ir was 840 rounds on 7 bandoleers. OH HIS IS M855...so you did great to find military M193 thats Lake City. I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT.

I thought you were talking about XM193 but if you have real US M193 than I would buy a ton of it at $250

Welcome to the board!  Like what's already been said, it should be good stuff, and the price doesn't sound too bad.
