A buddy of mine has 960 rounds of this stuff he doesn't want.  What do you think would be a fair price to pay for this stuff ?

$150-180 is typical for any brass cased .223/5.56

Just paid $179 at the Armory for 1k.  Offer $125-150 for it.

Given that S&B brass in .223 is not very good for reloading, I would rank it close to AE223 and the like.  Probably right around $170 to $180 /K.  Prices are going up, however.

Why doesn't he want it?  That the first question even before the price.

He bought a case of Q3131 and doesn't shoot much. He only has one AR and just doesn't want it if he can get anything out of it.  He bought it several years ago and only shot two boxes so now he just wants to turn it into cash.  His perogative i guess.  I don't really need it but figured if I could buy it in the money I could burn it up and keep my SA saami stuff for later.  Is this stuff much  better than wolf ?

Well, some of these guys have mentioned weak cases.  I never noticed that, but it is a lot cleaner than Wolf.  It's also more expensive than wolf.
Honestly, if he is willing to part with it for $100-$150, then it is probably worth it.

S&B shoots fine in three of my ARs but not at all in #4.  Go figure.  I think he has a AR like my #4 and will let the ammo go for cheap.

A/E no good to reload? All me A/E is LC brass. I was under the impression LC brass is good stuff. I'm not a reloader, just putting in my 2 cents
