Any information on this ammo is greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

edited to add:

Just picked up 500 rounds for $60

Local guy ran an ad and was looking to sell it. It's Q3131  5.56 made in the USA.

Ammo is in pristine condition. I am guessing around 5-10 years old according to the seller.

Will post pics tomorrow.

My eyes are too bad to read the small head-stamp ( I need to buy a magnifying glass )

added pic:

Wish he had a pickup truck full of this stuff @ that price.

If it says "made in the usa," it's q3131, not q3131a.  Supposedly, it has a good reputation except for lots made in 1999.  Here's a link - LINK

If it's not stamped 99 you paid about half price.

The headstamp is all that matters.

If it is older than 1999, you are good to go.  If it is 1999, it will be questionable.  I would use it for plinking.
