$7.73 here in New Hampshire.  about  0.19 per rd right? that does seem kinda high for .223. Does the war have anything to do with prices?

$7.73 here too

With 6% tax that comes to $204.85 per 1,000, or ~0.20 cents a round.

Comparing to the Ammo Price list link, that price seems very good for new shiny 223 that works.

My two WM have no 223/Q3131 or any kind !!

Nothing period!

I ask to order they looked at me crazy!

I use to love WM back when I lived in IN!!

They would order handguns if one asked!

and always carried Q3131

You guys are justs kidding me right ? Now I know for a fact that none of the Walmarts around here sell any guns and I dont think they sell any ammo either, matter of fact I just called the one closest to me, and nope, they dont sell any guns or ammo, just paintball and BB guns. I have the local gun shop sell me XM 193 at  six and change a 20 round box

Those are very reasonable numbers for those who actually shoot their guns.

Walmarts in free America sell guns and ammo, they used to sell handguns back in the 80s.  The Walmarts here charge 7,73 just like they do ever where else for 40 round WWB

...more

I've never gone to buy ammo from any Walmart without buying all of the WWB .223 that they had, and I've never seen them carry more than 13 boxes... then they don't get more for another few weeks.  Not just at one Walmart, but the one where I go to school, the one on the way to the range, the one by my office and the one near my old house in Ohio.

I once went in and found they had 13 boxes, the rest of the trips they've never had more than 7-8 boxes.

25 boxes per case.......the most I have ever purchased at one time was a full case of 25 boxes.

The Walmart I frequent usually has 16 to 25 boxes, when they have it.

The Walmarts you shop at just suck I guess.

For those of us that actually shoot the ammo they buy, 1k rounds is easy to shoot in a day at the range.

Wow, if that's true I appologize.  Those bums are always saying, no whenever I ask if they have anymore in the back.  If it only comes in a case of 25 boxes, I don't see why the shelves always have an average of five or six everywhere I go.

7.73 but not a box to be found in 4 Wal Mart stores in town. I bought last 10 boxes that one store had.

Yes Greencastle IN WM would order Hand guns! They however dont anymore because I guy order to sigs and back out wich F__K it all up for everyone!  Greencastle IN small town everyone knows everybody there!  STOP in 98!

The guy at the counter last time I bought some ammo told me that they only restock per box.  I bought four boxes of the .223 so they would only get in four more boxes in the next shipment.  There isn't any sitting "in the back".  He showed me the box the last restock of ammo came in and it probably couldn't hold more than six boxes of .223, and that was for all of their ammo behind the counter.

Take this with a grain of salt obviously.

$7.73.
They seem to have around 10 boxes in stock lately.   Since it is always flying of the shelves, don't know why they don't just order a pallet.   Annoying to have to keep going back.

$7.73 here in Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.  They range from 2 boxes to 15 boxes in stock steadily.  I usually get every box that they have on each trip!

Wally World will never deep stock it, as they use a Market Demand Pull inventory system and a Just In Time delivery concept.  They refuse to do business with anyone who won't align their system to their concepts........they even turned down Levis when they wouldn't play ball!
