Last summer I ran across a few boxes of sellier & belliot and it really grouped well in my AR.
I just saw some on Natchez sight and bought 30 boxes x 3.99.  I just saw someones post that the bullets are steal core. Is this true? Will this damage my guns.

Steal core projectiles will not hurt your barrel.

neither will steel core.

the steel core is surrounded by softer jacketing that won't hurt the barrel

If you bought the .223 ammo on Natchez's web site for $3.99 (product # ZYSBA55603), it is loaded with 55 grain bullets (copper FMJ lead bullets); they are typically NOT steel core bullets (they are usually 62 grain bullets).
