I have never shot AE, how does it perform for accuracy?

Personally I like BHBB for accuracy but always looking for a cheaper alternative.

shoots pretty well and I use it when I go to the range.  Im sure the ammo shoots better than I do.  But again I have never had one problem with it at the range.

It shoots better through all my guns than the comparative 55gr WWB (not Q3131 or 3131A).  My thought is because it uses boat tail projectiles, but don't know for sure, since I don't know if the 55gr projectiles Winchester uses have boat tails.

Natchez has the cheapest prices on all the good ammo. I've switched to them for the majority of my plinking ammo and save Wideners for my XM193 and occasionally M855

It is a sad day when AE .223 is going for over $200/case and is considered a good deal

I get it for $195 OTD at Sportsmans Warehouse.

If it's not HSLD, SHTF, TEOTWAWKI, USGI, Tactical, Patrol, Current Issue M193 ammo, I don't want it and neither should you.

Not really.  It's $29.xx in shipping for me, if i was to order it.  Which comes out to about $217.

I just buy mine at the local gunshow.  $100 a case(500) for now.

That not what it says in todays ammo price list.  brillo keeps the list very accurate.   Do you have to pay tax at the local gun show?  Hope not.

The ammo product prices in the price list are usually up-to-date but the shipping charges will vary depending on dealer and location.  The price list shipping charges are based on fees to Lebanon, Kansas, the geographical center of the continental U.S.  Shipping from Natchez, in Tennessee, to A96Honda, in Washington state, will be higher - but ammo from Outdoor Marksman and Northwest Loading, both in the northwest U.S., might be a better deal.

That may be true, but I keep my good stuff for situations like you mention above, and use whatever is available, and  cheap (relatively) for practice.   I just can't afford to practice with ammo that costs $225+ per thousand.

Dude, please...no explanation required.  I was poking fun of certain types who dwell on this forum and elsewhere on the internet.  I hope I'm not the only one who gets the joke...

"High Speed, Low Drag".  Commonly used to characterize special forces-types.  The terminology actually originated from certain types of air-delivered munitions.

No.  $100 is the OTD price here.  Got a case last weekend myself.

Haven't opened this case yet, but the AE I've used previously has been LC brass loaded to .223 velocity.
