I just downloaded a program called Barnes ballistics. it's a pretty cool program. you punch in different variables, and it will give you muzzle energy, velocity, trajectory and a bunch of other crap. My question/comment is has anyone ever heard of, or used programs like this one? I plan on using it when I go hunting. Some people seem to be really educated on ammo, and firearms in general and wanted to know if any used programs like this.

I got a friend who uses this Barnes software and likes it.
I use this, with the advice of a few far more knowledgable fellows from my club. It can seem a bit a bit more than what you need, but is very accurate.
