Quoted: I just happened to Chrono some BH's blue box 77's yesterday through my 20" SPR. Velocity for 10 shot average was 2,615 fps. It should be about the same with an 18" barrel.

Hmmmm...BHs advertises them at 2750 (per fulton armory)?

THat's for the Mk262 Mod 1 military round, which is NOT the same as the BH (bluebox) civilian purchased version of the 77grn. SMK.
Two different types of ammo there chromeluv......

E.T.A - fwiw, these military Mk262 rounds are quite abit HOTTER than the bluebox and use military brass and components making it quite difficult to get this higher velocity for most of us that have tried. In my own experience I was getting extremely flatten primers (with my component choices) and never got closer than around 120-140 fps to that 2750fps figure, settling instead to just stick with the BH bluebox or redbox loads rather than shooting rounds so hot. (bound to easier on my rifles)
