Anyone shoot the Wolf 308?  If  so, how do you like it?

Thanks

I like it for blasting.  It seems underpowered just like all their other ammo but makes it more controlable in rapid fire. Accuracy was average around that of SA ammo.  If you have an FAL that get's brass kisses then you better use tape when you fire the Wolf. The marks won't scrub off like with brass cases because your finish will be gone.

I've got 1,500 rounds that I'm dying to try.  I've got the ammo but not the time!

Hopefully I can crank a few hundred rounds off this weekend.

I picked up 2k of it a couple of weeks ago but haven't been to the range yet to try it out.

I'll be going Saturday and using it in a 1919A4 semi gun.  From all accounts heard, it has gotten good reviews so far.

It is in the just OK catagory for me - inexpensive but not that accurate. The new Wolf gold ammo however is accurate, more expensive and not made by Wolf.

I shoot quite a bit of Wolf .223 in my carbine and two of the guys I work with tried it in there Ed Brown and Savage .308's. We shoot generally between 200 to 500 yards and at those ranges the Wolf is just all over the place in the .308's and in my 20" AR, I had never tried shooting at that range with Wolf and had the same results as the .308's. Wolf serves it's purpose and I burn a fair amount of it up in my carbine but past 100 yard it's just not accurate enough.

Can you be more specific with this?  How bad was the accuracy at longer distances?

The prices I have ween make it seem too expensive. What are you guys paying for it?

Miwall Corp. had it at the last gunshow for $74.95, IIRC.
