I've got 2500 rounds of Lot 5 Federal XM193 on hand. I've been reading KB threads all over this board, some with XM193 possibly to blame. Can anyone confirm that Lot 5 is OK? (or at least so far!) I bought 3,000 rounds so I made it through 500 without a nuclear KB...but I'm a paranoid sort of fella....
ETA: Crap, I forgot there is an ammo forum. The ammo forum really should be in the Armory area. Why is it in the Ar-15 forum? Are AR-15's the only weapons that use ammo? Hmmmm?

The ammo you have is 3 or 4 years old. I would think that if Lot 5 had issues, we would have heard about it by now.
I wouldn't lose sleep about having a Kb, or any other type of nasties. |
