Whose ammo would come in sealed packs, similar to the packs that South African .308 comes in, but would be labeled as 5.56x45, M855, in a quantity of 480 (on white paper stuck to the outside)?

Thanks

There may have been some additional markings on the label, but nothing that jumped out to me as giving date, country of manufacture, anything like that.

The packs are still sealed, so I do not know what the headstamps are, I am trying to determine whether it is worth purchase.

As noted above, guess you'll have to go fish..............

FWIW, labels are important and what don't mean shit to you, may mean everything to those around here familar with the various labels placed on ammunition products.

Personally if the fella selling it can't tell ya what or where it came from I'd pass.
