How do you tell if a lot is polyment coated?  

Does the lot # start with a "P"?

No shiney laquer on the cases. It will feel kinda like a flat teflon paint finish instead of the smooth laquer on the old cases.

lacquer is greenish
poly is grayish

I'd have to look concerning lot prefix.

Lot:  P270.05

That should be 2005 manufacture.

Yes, all poly Wolf is gray, and the cases do have a "P" stamped on them somewhere. I actully never noticed that the P was in the lot #.
