The ARFCOM Ammo Price Sheet shows EVERYONE "OUT OF STOCK" of Federal XM193...

It looks like it has been this way a few months too...

I guess the newbees here are SOL in getting XM193 for their new AR's...

I'm glad I bought "back in the day..."

I haven't heard of any shortages.  But there's a lot of trolls here trying to portray XM193 as defective reject ammo lately.

My new rule is,  "don't shoot what you can't replace."

The Black Hills Blue Box, Remanufactured, .223 FMJ costs a little more, but it is one of the best XM193 alternatives for the target/training range. The only thing I don’t know is if the bullet is the same or one with a thicker jacket. If it has the same it would be just a small step down from XM193 as a defensive round, because it’s a little slower, probably on par with Q3131A.

Does anybody know what bullet BH uses?

Widener's has plenty in stock.  Cost me $223 to my door for 1K.

Yeah, I missed on the ARFCOM Price List that Widener's was the ONLY ONE that didn't have the big red OUT OF STOCK under its NOTES section...

There is a lot of RED on that list...

Is even AMMOMAN out of stock??? Hard to believe...

Federal should buy the manufacturing stuff for M193, and than produce it for the open market. They would make a killing from folks like us!

What is in stock is overpriced.

$200 to my doorstep for XM193 is a good price.

Good rule!

It seems that most here have a rule of Shoot it all up, then whine on the internet!
