I have shot some of the Adcom and it's NICE ammo, very clean and sealed on both ends. Very consistant crimps and OAL. I've gotten 5 K of it and ALL of it is 99 dated and good shootin stuff. 2 K from AIM is $330.00. I talked with them and they said they want more but the ammo market is very inconsistant as far as shipment size lately. It is not the only place that has told me that. An entirely different biz said the exact same thing. One of the other threads had someone who chronoed it and it was pretty much in line witht 855. I found no dings, marks, funky necks, or anything else I have been seeing on the XM193 lately.

On various threads here, its been verified that the Lake City stuff is tier 1 and that the ADCOM stuff is also tier 1 and its velocities qualify it to be a M855 spec round.

Does anyone have info or a link to a thread on whether the Winchester M855 stuff has been verified as tier 1 or not?

Lake City or IMI are both top of the heap in my book.

The US Military only sources ammo from LC (Federal), IMI and Olin-Winchester (maybe Taiwan Military Industries). So yes it is Tier 1.
