It's loaded hotter. The NATO 124 gr 9mm loads seem on par with most 9mm +P loads I've used. I use them to simulate recoil ballistics of the Speer 124 gr Gold Dot and Winchester 127 gr Ranger +P+ when practicing. It's a nice, cheap alternative. Also, Federal sells their version of the 9mm NATO as well.

The other difference is the sealant. The primers are sealed and though I've never pulled a bullet to find out, I assume the case is sealed also. So the ammo would be better for long term storage or use in wet environments.

that is what i wanted to hear...I am looking for some ammo for my glocks for my hurricane survival kit. and being able to get wet is just what i needed....
