It isn't. It is commercial .223 Remington, which means it is loaded to lower pressures/velocities than 5.56-spec ammo. -Troy |

Troy is right. The name of the cartridge is .223 Remington. It doesn't matter whether it's made by Winchester, Federal or whoever, it's still .223 Remington. MJD |
