I just happened upon this thread and noted your question. I have one of the new Hornady TAP LE catalogs in front of me. According to the information they have listed:
60 grain TAP Barrier using a protected point spitzer. ...originally designed for use in nuclear power plant security. The bullet penetrates steel fire doors to deliver terminal results on the otehr side. TAP Barrier ammunition maintains structural integrity through barriers while still offering expansion in soft tissue. For any tactical situation that demands accuracy, barrier penetration and expansion for terminal performance, the TAP Barrier cartridge delivers a perfect solution.
MV: 2632 fps (16")
Total Pen: 14.75
Max Cav: 4.25"
Entry: .5"
Retained weight: 47.3 gr.
Later in the catalog, they have further test data from 14.5, 16 and 20" guns (all 1:9, Bushy for the first two and Colt for the 20"). The test data includes gelatin, car door, fire door and safety glass.
