A buddy learned the hard way recently about the quality of Olympic ammo.
He bought 1000 rds at a gunshow. I tried to talk him into a 100 round pack if he just had to try it.
Then he started adding the cost difference per 100 and looking at the higher prices for the better stuff. if he bought a 1000. He paid $165 +tax.

I really tried to get him to consider the $179+tax for a 1000 rnds of Q3131a.  I didn't have the cash or I would have probably bought it.

What I want to now is after reading  about about and experiencing the many of the problems with it,
is Olympic 5.56x 45 ammo corrosive.

With all the other issues I wouldn't be surprised.

Thanks!
