Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What did I purchase (XM193 from Sportsmans' Guide)

This ammo comes loose in a 500 round box and says "training use only."

It does not appear to be sealed at the primer and bullet, but is just as accurate and seems to have just as much heat as other XM193 I've purchased in the past.   The casings all match (LC 02).

What is this stuff?  Is it worthwhile ammo for hoarding?  Thanks.

I went through 1000 rounds of that stuff already, it shoots fine zero jams.  Good plinking ammo IMHO.

However, this time I picked up a 1000 rounds of M855 from SG instead, can't wait til they get here tomorrow!!
