I've been "out-of-the-loop" for a while on AR issues.  I picked up some blue box BH loads the other day and they seem very accurate out of my 16" BM.  I did the limited searching I'm allowed and didn't come up with much on this loading.  Could someone be kind enough to link or post some info on the effectiveness of this round compared to the M155/855?

Also, what's the take on using this round for deer?  I did a search there too.  Lots of discussion on the Winchester 64gr and the heavier 75+ stuff.

Thanks

Nevermind.  I saw your thread in the hunting forum.

I've used them on jackrabbits, you won't have any problems with the 68gr OTMs. I got fist sized entrance wounds and way too much penetration for rabbits so they should be ideal for deer. The only thing to consider is the possibility  of fragments left in and around the meat near the wound channel.
