For self-defense? Bigger is better. My guess having not used either round.

MGP, what are you going to use the ammo for? Range, self defense? I have 2 Oly 9mm and have been using Win white box for the range it was 115 gr.

Their gonna do the same thing. Just use the one that is most accurate. I really don't reccommend use a FMJ bullet for self defense though.

Just for target practice. does the 9mm like the 115gr or the 124gr better?

----------- How about trying a couple of boxes of each and seeing which one you like and your gun likes? It's kind of like the Wolf thing, some guns like it some don't. My guess is it will function with both, for defense use the heavier bullet. If the gun will take it use some +P+ Hirtenberger subgun ammo if you want some kick ass 9mm.(This stuff is HOT....about 1500fps w/124gr bullet.) Be sure the gun can take it before using. |

I'd suggest buying a box of each and trying them out. Different guns like different things.
I went through four or five brands of .22 ammo to find the type my .22 kit likes best in the Uzi. |
