The company is called Natac. It's definitely alot lighter than brass cased ammo, I can't see any other benefit. Can't reload it and it's not any cheaper, I'd stick with the metallic cartridges.

Ive shot about 500 rds of it and had 4 torn cases. 2 case necks jamed into my chamber and had to be pushed out with a cleaning rod. It is lighter but not realy any cheaper so ill stick with brass( and steel).

Natec PCA 55 grain .223 review
I have had good success with it so far. Not quite EOTWAWKI ready, but I cannot wait for their hunting ammo to come out! |

I shot about 300 rounds with no malfunctions. I did find a few cases on the ground with the shoulder blown off, and I'm assuming the torn shoulders simply followed the bullets out of the bore, because it didn't cause any problems.

I couldn't get threw 20 rounds out of a BM 20" and a BM16" without a failure to feed. Way underpowered.

The weight reduction is would be a huge leap in technology, but not at the expense of the problems seen so far.

I was in Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO and they had this ammo for $10.99 per box! That's crazy!
