I guess I should have been more specific. Where did you get your ammo? If you handloaded, what are your loads?

Most 30 caliber AP comes in the form of "pulled" 30-06 M2 AP components. While the bullets are available, IIRC, (the last time this came up) there is NO 308 caliber AP "sold-commercially" and reloading/creation of 308 AP using pulled 30-06 AP is ILLEGAL. Mike |

I REALLY appreciate that information. I knew about the AP bullets coming from 30-06 M2 ammo, but I didn't realize that it's illegal to put them in a .308. On that note I think that I'll just forget about AP.
